Our Vision Statement

Worship: We dream of worship services that reach a large segment of the population in which people are free to express their joy and needs without judgment leading to a life changing encounter with Jesus.

 

Discipleship: Our dream is that members use their interests to excite people about the Word of God through mentoring and doctrinally sound living.

 

Ministry: We are moving toward the place where each member has a servant mentality that is more concerned about meeting the needs of others than having their own needs met.

 

Evangelism: It is a dream of having every member of First Baptist Hammond reaching our community, state, nation, and world through our lifestyles, personal witnessing, and creative events.

 

Facilities: It is the dream of having the facilities that allows us to be a church that impacts the entire region including an auditorium that would be available for city wide events, recreation facilities accessible to the entire community, and education buildings that will enhance both academic and spiritual endeavors. All of these facilities will ultimately be used to advance the Kingdom of God.
