mission trip

The Gospel of Jesus is for every person everywhere. At First Baptist Hammond, we are committed to seeing this message shared at home and other places around the country and the world. The opportunity to go and make disciples is open to each of us as part of a mission trip. This year we have the opportunity to help carry the Gospel to Charleston, IL. There we will be working with our former youth minister, James Summerlin, at Charleston Baptist Church. Our main task will be to staff their Vacation Bible School. If you decide to go, watch your faith grow as you step outside your comfort zone and experience the joy and passion of sharing the good news of Christ in a distant city.
